The Busy Month Of May

Wow the month of May has come and gone. Time just seems to go faster the older we get. I'm going to put little of everything that has been going on with us this month. First there was Paige's graduation from Weber State. She finished with a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in history. It was a lot of fun cheering for her as she crossed the stage to receive her diploma. Way to go Paige. We love you. Afterwards we had a party for her and for Taylor to celebrate his scholarship.

After Graduation came the Prom. Taylor of course took Ansley. They are a couple of good looking kids if I say so.

The month is only getting started. With spring came the planting of the garden and the flower beds.

The month can not be complete without MORP. It was a jungle theme this year and Taylor and Ansley went as cast aways from "LOST".

Jamie ran in the Ogden Marathon as part of a relay team made up of neighborhood ladies. They did really well. Jamie ran the last leg so she got to cross the finish line.

Layton Highs soccer team made it to the State Championship Game at Rio Tinto Stadium. They played Brighton High in a rematch of the first game of the season and like the first game they came up short. Way to go Layton High!!!!! Taylor was named to the 5A All Tournement Team as a defender. Yea Taylor!!!

On the same day as the State game Summer performed as Mayzie in Suessical the Musical. She did a wonderful job. She is quite the little actress.

The month finshed with Taylor and Jeff going on a turkey hunt near Fillmore Utah. They slept under a tree and had a quick breakfast the next morning. They hunted all day, but didn't see any birds so the fishing pole came out and the guns were put away. They even caught a couple of trout.

One last thing. Jeff grew a monster radish!!!

So there you go thats all that happened in this month of May. Hope I can keep up in June with lots of small posts instead of one giant post.
